A produtora de animação hype.cg juntamente com a organização do FRAPA realiza um concurso de roteiro para a execução de seu próximo projeto de curta-metragem. O primeiro curta da produtora “Ed” já foi selecionado para mais de 50 festivais em 22 países diferentes e já ganhou diversas premiações.
The animation studio hype.cg with the FRAPA organization will hold a screenwriting competition to produce their next short animation project. The first short of the studio called “Ed” has been selected for over 50 festivals in 22 different countries and has won several awards.
As inscrições para o Concurso vão até o dia 1º de novembro.
The submissions to the Competition will be open until the 1st of November.
REGULAMENTO
REGULATION
1) O Concurso de Roteiro hype.cg – FRAPA tem o objetivo de selecionar um roteiro de curta-metragem de animação para ser produzido pela produtora hype.cg.
1) The hype.cg – FRAPA Screenwriting Competition aims to select a script for an animated short movie to be produced by hype.cg studio.
2) Estão habilitadas para participar pessoas de todos os países. Serão aceitos roteiros em português, inglês e espanhol.
2) Worldwide script submissions will be accepted. The scripts must be in Portuguese, English or Spanish.
3) O roteiro deve ter no máximo 20 páginas, seguir uma formatação profissional (Padrão Master Scenes) e ser enviado em formato PDF.
3) The script should have a maximum of 20 pages, with professional formatting (Default Master Scenes) and be submitted in PDF format.
4) O tema do roteiro é livre. Serão aceitos todos os gêneros de animação, seja infantil ou adulto.
4) The script’s subject is free. All kinds of animation genres are accepted, both adult or children-themed.
5) Cada autor terá direito a enviar no máximo 3 (três) roteiros.
5) Each author can submit a maximum of three (3) scripts.
6) É obrigatório que o roteirista possua os direitos sobre o roteiro. No caso de co-autoria deve ter autorização dos demais autores.
6) It is mandatory that the writer owns the rights to the script. In the case of co-authorship, it should be authorized by the other authors.
7) Recomenda-se que os roteiros enviados estejam devidamente registrados na Biblioteca Nacional (ou órgão competente dependendo do país), apesar de não ser obrigatório.
7) It is recommended that the scripts are registered (in a competent sector depending on the country), although is not mandatory.
8) A escolha do roteiro vencedor será de responsabilidade exclusiva da produtora hype.cg. A decisão do júri será soberana e irrecorrível.
8) The selection of the winning script will be of hype.cg’s full responsability. The jury’s decision will be sovereign and irrevocable.
9) Um contrato será assinado entre o roteirista vencedor e a produtora, no qual estará previsto a cessão dos direitos patrimoniais sobre o projeto à hype.cg, assim que ocorrer o pagamento integral do cachê do roteirista.
9) A contract will be signed between the winning screenwriter and the production company, which will refer to the transfer of the script’s rights to hype.cg, as soon as the writer receives full payment.
10) O cachê do roteirista vencedor será de R$ 5.000,00 (cinco mil reais). A primeira parcela de R$ 1.000,00 será paga logo após assinatura do contrato e a segunda parcela de R$ 4.000,00 será paga no momento em que a produtora captar a verba para produção do filme e somente quando e se isso acontecer.
10) The winning screenwriter´s cache will be R$ 5.000 (aproximately US 2.245 dollars). There will be a first installment of R$ 1.000,00 that will be paid after the two parts sign the contract. The second installment of R$ 4.000,00 will be paid at the time the studio gets the funds for the film production and only when and if that takes place.
11) Não existe nenhuma garantia que o filme será efetivamente produzido. A hype.cg se compromete a inscrever o filme nas leis de incentivo e editais de fomento. É importante salientar que é de total interesse da produtora que o projeto seja executado e que esta não poupará esforços para que isto aconteça.
11) There is no guarantee that the film will be produced. hype.cg agrees to submit the film to incentive laws and calls for entries. It is important to note that is the overall interest of the producer that the project will be executed and the studio will make all efforts at reach to make this possible.
12) A responsabilidade de gestão e execução de todo o projeto caberá a produtora (escolha do diretor, técnicas de animação, sonorização, contratações, etc)
12) The execution and management of the project will be of the producer’s responsability (choice of director, animation techniques, sound, contracting…)
13) O roteirista vencedor deve ter ciência de possíveis alterações no roteiro, tendo em vista questões de produção.
13) The winning screenwriter should be aware of possible changes on the script due to production requirements.
14) O roteirista vencedor será devidamente creditado no filme e em materiais de divulgação.
14) The winning writer will be duly credited in the film and promotional materials.
